As first cousins raised half a country apart, we’ve always felt like two halves of the same brain and heart. Between us, we’ve clocked more than ten years in online marketing. We’ve tackled social media management, led projects, handled customer service, and each run our own small business. We both imagined launching a social media boutique, but kept waiting for the perfect moment.
Then spring 2022 arrived. We found ourselves between projects at the same time and wondering what was next. In that exact moment we realized we’d both had the same idea. We love this work, our values and skills fit together perfectly, and the timing finally felt right. So we threw open the metaphorical door, hit the ground running, and Cedar & Sage Media was born.

I'm living proof that being Free-Spirited and Type-A are not mutually exclusive. A plant-loving, adventure-seeking hippie who is also a meticulous planner, a spreadsheet connoisseur, and a master of charts and graphs? It's me, hi! I bring a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking to the table, thanks to my background in customer service and sales. I get a kick out of empowering entrepreneurs like you and sharing my knowledge to help you succeed. It's not just a job for me—it's a passion.
My home is nestled in the charming state of Connecticut. In my free time, you'll find me gardening, singing, and caring for my marvelous menagerie of animals with my awesome husband, Jonathan.
Sarah Cook

While I might have the heart of a creative, I must confess, I'm also a bit of a list-making maniac, an organization guru, and a self-appointed project manager for everything and everyone around me (in a good way, of course!). Bringing together my passions, skills, and the joy I get from helping others, Sarah and I created a business that's both exciting and fulfilling. The ever-changing online world keeps us on our toes, constantly learning and evolving. And let me tell you, it's pretty darn awesome.
I enjoy any and all kinds of crafting and spend a decent amount of time crocheting random stuffed animals for my loved ones. I live in sunny Colorado with my high-school sweetheart, our two beautiful kids, and our energetic pups, Kobe & Gigi.
Jessie Sledge
COO & Co-Founder
I joined the Cedar & Sage team in the summer of 2023, and it's a match made in heaven! I am the only Canadian on the team, living in Toronto, Ontario. My career spans photography, videography, virtual assistance, and social media management. I'm an adventurous, nature-loving free spirit combined with with an organized, type-A, businesswoman.
I met Sarah and Jessie at one of their client's events where I happened to be the photographer, and we instantly clicked both personally and professionally. We share a lot in common in how we run our businesses and knew we could learn from each other and grow together. I'm a huge fan of both of them and look forward to seeing their business grow. I'm excited to be along for the ride!
Outside of work, I'm a music lover who enjoys live music, dancing, and playing piano. I love spending time with my partner, stepdaughter, and tortoise, Bilbo. I also enjoy hiking, yoga, and anything active, as well as reading and watching anime on my down time.
Shannon Craig

Jonathan is a bit of a wild card, in the best way possible. By day, he’s a compassionate Mental Health Nurse at the high school where he and Sarah met, and by night, he’s building decks for Magic: The Gathering, diving into his favorite video games, or honing his coding skills. Jonathan and Sarah have been inseparable since high school, and his constant offers to help her advance her business turned into something more, and now he’s officially part of the team!
Not only is Jonathan a master of strategy in games, but he’s also the Automation Architect of Cedar & Sage Media. He designs automations and builds connections between different platforms, maximizing efficiency and saving our team so much time. His love for learning extends beyond his work, as he’s always exploring new coding projects, hitting the road on his bike, or camping in the great outdoors. When he’s not streamlining systems or adventuring outside, he’s balancing it all with a soft spot for their menagerie of five ferrets, two dogs, and a cat, keeping everything running smoothly in true Jonathan style.

Alana is an LA-based social media specialist, creator, and strategist, helping brands and influencers authentically grow their online presence. She is also a talented photographer, capturing genuine moments in portraiture, fashion, and product photography. With a BA in Public Relations from Cal State Northridge, earned in May of 2021, Alana brings a fresh yet strategic approach to digital storytelling.
As the newest member of the Cedar & Sage Media team, Alana is ready to elevate our video strategy for clients, leveraging her creative vision and expertise in crafting engaging, authentic content that resonates with audiences. Whether behind the lens or behind the scenes, she’s passionate about using social media to drive meaningful connections and growth.
